Pre-toddler phase has begun...

A had her first birthday since I last wrote where we all discovered that she will be getting a little brother!

With her favorite, Lonnie!

A playing around on her actual birthday.

We all went to Greenville SC for 2 nights to check out the town on New Year's Day.

We are headed to Birmingham this weekend to celebrate Sophia's 1st birthday!

A loves dancing to anything, especially Toddler tunes on the tv. She is babbling a couple things but nothing consistent. She  recently transitioned from all bottles to the sippy cup and has really done well. Now she is practicing (sort of) with a spoon. Should be messy! Still taking 2 naps a day and sleeping well through the night. Lonnie continues to take such great care of our family and A jumps up and down when she arrives in the mornings. Her hair is really starting to grow and she looks just like her daddy still!

She popped her first 2 teeth finally!

First doughnut outing at dancing goats.

Other than that- we have been keeping busy this winter and are currently house hunting. We hope to be out of the apartment and into our next home before the baby boy arrives (fingers crossed).

It's been a while folks...

But I'm back! I'm not sure if I shared the news in the last post but we are becoming Wolfepack party of 4 (plus Rex) in mid May! Arabella will be 16 months old when she becomes an older sister.

Other news- Arabella turns 11 months tomorrow! Time really does fly.
Here are her 10 month photos.

We sold our home and are currently living in a nearby apartment with hopes of finding a new home before the new babe arrives. Fingers crossed! We miss our first home of course (and our awesome neighbors). We miss you Val and Katie!

A experienced her first keswick village Halloween and a pumpkin patch. She did not like the pumpkins!

Mom and her daughters had a gals night out to see dirty dancing at the fox!

We shared Thanksgiving with our family at the Dillard house. We laughed, ate, and went for day hikes. Dad would have approved of our day and I only pray that he knows how close he is in my heart always, especially during his most favorite season of all- Christmas!!

A met Santa Claus for the first time

And tosh and I have been to some fun weddings!

And Met all the new babies and spent time with cherished friends in Baton Rouge and New Orleans in November. Thank you mom for watching Arabella!!

We have an exciting December and January. Wishing you all a safe and blesse holiday season.

7, 8, and nearly 9!!!

Phew time really flies by! I wish I could say it has all been fun but unfortunately this summer brought very tough times for our entire family. My dad passed on August 8 after several years of fighting various illnesses. Everyday we miss him but know he is feeling weightless and free in Heaven watching us.
He sang Arabella this song every time he saw her or I had him on the phone:
To the rhythm if Mona Lisa
"Arabella, Arabella, Arabella.....
You a smella, you a smella, you a smella..."!
My dad could talk infant/toddler with the best of them. It would just light Arabella's smile right up. I wish they would have had more time here together- but we will make sure that she knows both of her grandpas through our actions and stories.
So what's new these 3 months? Tosh and I went to napa with our friends kris and Lindsey to experience our first earthquake :) we had a great time and A got to spend some qt with her nana.
Before grandpas services with the doll that he gave her.

Arabella served as a baby model volunteer for a photography class. We got some good shots from it :)

A'a pals Lauren and nick took off to NYC - we miss them!

First trip to the zoo with Stephen and Stephanie!

Nothing cuter than naked baby before baths!

Arabella has started eating more textures and really just wants what is off of mom and dads plate now!

Hard at work

This gals loves to swing!

At grandpas mini golf tournament !

Until next time!!
