Before the hunger games...

Well Hello there.
Now I have never claimed to be a talented writer. I have a sister who is the literacy coordinator at her school so I'm sure this will be quite painful for her to read. But truth is- I have endured too many concussions and had a little too much fun in my college years to remember each days happenings. Big or small- I want to remember my daughter's life especially her childhood and this is a tool to assist. Not to mention a way to share our new families' life with family and friends. Now let's get down to business.
Tosh and I welcomed sweet Arabella Catharine Wolfe into the world on January 8th 2014, right before the 2 epic Atlanta snow storms in which our car slid out of our driveway :)
Pregnancy, labor and delivery went as smoothly as possible and I often find myself yearning to experience the day all over again- crazy I know but child birth was the most amazing and humbling experience I have ever been a part of.
Arabella has been a kind soul to Tosh and I - a very calm and collected baby overall. We have been extremely fortunate thus far.
She is 2 months now.
The good:
Her grunts and squeaks
Her stretching after a good nap
Her long hair- may take after her mama with crazy morning hair!
Her chunky cheeks
How she smiles when she hears her daddy
Her favorite places - the changing pad where her monkey picture is and the bath
This girl can eat and sleep with the best of them!
And she loves bumpy runs with her mama

The not so bad:
She's a mega pooper blowing out at least one outfit a day
Did I mention she poops a lot- about 6 to 8 times a day
She has a bit of a short fuse- when she's hungry she turns hangry real quick!

So far- she is long and lean like the Wolfe and Springer side of her heritage.

As far as Tosh and I go - I am returning to work the first week in April in a new part time position.
It is my goal to update approx 1 time a month so hold me to it ok?
Tosh is working away and enjoying his new role as a daddy.

Above all, thank you for all the love and generosity that you our family and friends have provided us with.
I could not be holding it all together without you.

PS: my brother Rob and his wife Roxanne welcomed their baby girl Sophia 20 days after Arabella!! So we were surprised with 2 baby girls in the month of January. Watch out world - Capricorns are slowly and meticulously taking over.

And always a little inspiration for the day
Sometimes the blessings are not in what God gives but in what he takes away.
True that
